Work Sharp Ken Onion Edition?
« on: May 02, 2014, 07:06:00 AM »
Just picked up a Ken Onion Edition of the Work Sharp sharpener.  Anyone here have one?  What do you think?  Any tips/tricks that you have found that help with the learning curve.  I think it could be a great upgrade(especially time wise) vs. my modified Gatco system but don't want to muck up a nice Damascus blade trying to get it figured out.

What I like about it(or dislike with my current system) is that when my blades taper the Gatco clamp is tough to get a consistent hold on the blade.

It puts a slight convex edge on all blades so that could be interesting.

Thanks for any help.

Bob
