Buckeye burl drop point
« on: September 18, 2014, 11:42:00 AM »
Just finished this one for my nephew. It has a stained buckeye burl handle, 3 1/2" blade, overall 8" long.

I've no doubt it will work well for him. It will also catch an admiring eye of every person he uses it in front of.

Nice work.

That is a nice one. I like the dyed wood on it. What is your steel?

Thanks Todd, he did like it.

Lin, the steel is 5/32" CPM154 stainless. I really like working with it. Grinds and sands well, and holds a nice edge.
