Cocobolo brute

I finished this little brute yesterday. I forged it from 1084 a couple months ago and put on the cocobolo scales and copper pins the last couple days. A few lessons learned on this one and a couple mistakes to evidence the learning, but overall probably the best blade I have made to date and it feels really good in the hand.
Also, after messing with a homemade etching machine getting off and on results for past couple years, I think I finally have it figured out. I replaced the previous 12v 3amp transformer with a 24v 2amp transformer and it is just the right amount of sizzle (without damaging the stencil). I am now getting really good, deep and crisp etches and really happy about that.
Here are a couple pics

Really, really nice.
That shows a great deal of creativity and attention to detail.
Awesome package.

Nice. Good job Brad.
Did you forge the step in where the bolster is?

Thanks guys. Lin, no I did not forge that bolster step in. I had not planned on the step to be so deep but it came out that way as I flattened the tang for the scales. This one really started with no plan and evolved a bit as time went on.

Thanks. Yes I did the leatherwork with stamps that Bill Kissner gave me. Thanks again Bill, I use them all the time.
