Sheep Horn Hunter

A little something different. I guess I make 1 or two of these a year. Each one has it's own character.
This is a mortised handle of sheep horn and tightly twisted, hot-blued Damascus.
Stainless hardware.

When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

You'll notice the "luckiest" elk hunters have worn out boots.

This one really appeals to my eye Karl. I like the shape and the expert way you installed the horn. The horn texture works right into the guard.

Sure gotta think a bit ahead on this stuff, but saying that to you is like preaching to the choir.
