Small Skinner
« on: February 22, 2016, 03:11:00 PM »
To go along with my small chopper I made, I figured I better make a small skinner. This one is  7 1/2" long with a 3 3/4" blade. Steel is 1/8" 1095.

I haven't made a finger guard in quite a while and it showed on this project. I ruined two guards before settling on this one, them smaller ones are tough! I wanted to leave the guard rough looking so the elk scales had to be fitted before gluing, my hats off to the guys that do that on a regular basis!
