Hex heads vs. Carbon arrows

Hex Heads won >:-(
Killed 2 arrows in one volley of six shots. Guess I'll just have to swap to field points and always use the foam target, or get some rubber blunts. lol

I had the same thing happen to some wood shafts and some Axis carbons.  I figured out my problem.  I was shooting to stiff of an arrow.  They were not hitting straight on at impact.  The hex head is one heck of a head but it will not forgive a glancing hit or bad flight of an arrow.  I always thought all this bare shaft business was hogwash.  Well, I have since had several glasses of hogwash.  Good luck on your situation.

Don't shoot groups with Hex heads...cause you'll need new arrows

I've shot hex heads on carbons for some time without any problems.

My aluminums w/hexes held up just fine yesterday, stumped with a friend for about an hour.

I don't dislike the hex heads, in fact I like em alot. I bet they would own a bunny or a squirrel. I just don't like them when they hit my arrows. lol

lol no. I have an old beat up foam target that I dangled  a tennis ball in front of, and I was shooting at that with my blunts on.

Got to agree with JC and Tree man, hex-heads aren't for shooting groups with.
