Edge glueing veneers
« on: September 02, 2008, 10:37:00 PM »
Question. When joining 36" tapers we 45 the ends and glue together. How would you join two 36",.025, veneers? They are so thin that it isn't practical to 45 the ends. Would you just try to  butt join them? Any help you could lend would be appreciated. Thanks

Never tried butt joining em,you might try putting them between two pcs a little thicker and angling all three(or 4) at once on a disc sander.?
Stay sharp, Kenny.

I do as Kenny said. Use a straight edge when I glue em up.
Pick a spot.>>>>-------> Shoot straight.
