Hi,
Forgive me if this has been discussed before, however what do you bowyers like the best, Thunderbird or Fullerplast. Also, where do you purchase Fullerplast. Thanks for your help.

foamer01, I can't say for myself but a friend of mine who makes bows prefers Thunderbird over Fullerplast. The reasoning he switched was he thought Thunderbird was more durable and it filled the grain better then Fullerplast. Fullerplast seem to shrink up after time showing dimples in some grainy woods.
Here is the address for Fullerplast,
http://www.van-dee.com/
And for Thunderbird,
http://www.tbirdarchery.com/
Hope this helps.

I like Thunderbird, haven't tried Fullerplast yet. Thunderbird shrinks as well, I had it happen on some wenge, which is real porous, a couple of sealer coats would probably solve the problem with either finish.
