I am talking about modern laminated glass bows and not wanting siyahs like the horsebows. Does one just add a thin tapered laminate into the stack at the end? Any help is apprecciated.

You could do that, or add more glass. All you need to do is great it strong or thick enough so the curves do not pull out.
