Man Law- GM Longbow
« on: February 04, 2008, 09:35:00 PM »
I'm new to this Man Law thing. This is my new to me Green Mountain Longbow. It's the Stingray model, 57# @ 28". I'm not positive on the woods, but it looks like Zebrawood and elm on the limbs. Not sure on the riser.

Thanks guys. I know Joe, who'd think I'd ever shoot a longbow. Jim Duclos was the second guy I met that shot trad in our state and he made me a couple of strings for my Hatfield and showed me how he made arrows. He even hauled my butt to Denton Hill for the first time. He helped me out a lot. I passed on his offer to make me a longbow back then which, many years later, I regretted.   :knothead:   I've been looking for one since. Jim is one of the good guys!

Greg,

I met Jim once at one of the Allard shoots a couple of years ago. He is a very nice, down to earth kind of guy.

If you ever hear of one in the 45-50# range please let me know.

OK Joe, but don't hold your breath. It took me years to get this one.
