Burl Handle Wood ????
« on: December 19, 2008, 10:03:00 PM »
I was wondering if anyone has / or is it wise to use burl wood for handle section on a recurve. My common sense is telling me no but I am uncertain. Let me here your thoughts. Thanks

1 piece I wouldn't. The fades work. I like the straightest grain possble for them.

3 piece you could laminate it to make it stronger.
