Put hardboiled eggs straight from the pot into your coat pockets when you head out on a cold morning. They stay warm a surprisingly long time, or til you eatem.

That reminds me. When I was a kid we had a Chinese Chesnut in the yard. I would go out and grab a couple handfuls before an early morning hunt and stick them in the microwave. Had to get the timer just right or they'd pop like popcorn. I put them in my pockets and head up the mountain. I don't remember them staying warm for a real long time but I do remember eating them mid morning and they weren't cold. This was on days were it was below freezing.

I thought that knife of yours had a spot for mayo, Biggie?

When I was a kid there were no microwaves; and, we had to walk 15 miles to the chestnut tree.
