I believe almost glass out there is made by Gordon's (Bo Tuff E Glass)  Either (ULS or UL) will work just fine.

I typically use UL, size .040 (but anythickness can work).  I will typically use 1 1/2 wide for a longbow, or maybe even 1 3/4 depending on your design.

I use UL (no scrim),haven't had any problems. I think the only place scrim would help is on an ultra narrow bow. It is a woven layer laminated in the glass. There is supposed to be no diff in clarity, just reinforces across the limb ,the glass fibers run lengthwise. JMHO
