Bow Press/Horse Help
« on: April 03, 2009, 08:36:00 PM »
Hi all!
My father-in-law and I both have long bows and have been talking about building our own bows this time around. I have been searching like crazy trying to find a blueprint on how to make one and can't seem to find one anywhere... If you could let me in on what you use or where you got your prints we would in heaven!
Thanks,
Derek

Bingham projects seems to be the go to place for plans on building bows. havn't done any myself but know some who have and it is the name that pops up here all the time.

I will second Binghamns for plans and the instructional DVD.  Get both. It is a good starting point.  I have made their TD recurves and Longbows and been satisfied with the results.  The instructional DVD along with help from this site should successfully get you through building a bow.
