bow repair

my son received a ben pearson with a small crack in the lower limb near the riser.Can anyone tell me how to fix this. Thank you

I will try to get pictures but Im not to computer freindly have to wait for my daughter to help me. The crack is in the middle about an inch long at top of lower limb going straight down. I will do what I can about pictures. Thank You.

I have got several bows with cracks in the limbs where they are attached to the riser.  I have always assumed that they were not stored very well and the wooden riser has moved and taken the glass with it.  mine shoot just fine.

thanks tim-flood I was afaid to string it but after reading your message I strung it and worked it in slowly and it shoots ok. I would still like to no how to fix it incase it did get worse. again thank you
