how i make my 2 fletch arrows...

ok here is a step by step in how i make my 2 fletch arrows, the forshafts are made and placed inside with hide glue,and sinew wrap.

 

Picture are all way too big! Please re-size and re-post....thanx

you dont have to have a wrap in the middle but it just makes them quieter during flight...closer to shaft, less drag, etc.

Great job!! Is there a finish on the shafts?
LQQks like there is two full fletches and two part flecthes like two full and two bleeders?

not on these.
i did not scrape the natural rind off, that is its own natural water proofer.

if you want you can heat up some thinned pitch,or beeswax and wipe it down, but the ends i cut are either wrapped with sinew or hideglue/pith.

so no real problems.

oh i forgot, the smaller feathers on the fletch that is partialy gone....ive tried them with them stripped totaly,and for some reason they fly MUCH better with a partial.
