lin seed oil???

Well I have come to the conclusion (which I already knew) that I am not a painter or a sprayer.  I was wondering if a couple coats of linseed oil followed by 0000 steel wool and then four to five coats of tru oil would be sufficient on laminated glass bows.

Yes.  The linseed oil isn't necessary. Tru-Oil is a linseed oil finish with additives. The linseed oil will slow down the drying time of the Tru-Oil unless it is completely cured.

You might want to try Minwax wipe on polyurethane.
I put 7 coats on a recent long bow and I could almost see myself in the reflection.

Wipe on (in water based) is not available to me locallyt if it was that would be the way to go.  Thanks.

you can wipe on almost any finish.
