Has anyone removed snakes skins. I have a a bow that has skins that was put on by BW. Would you ever be able to get all the scratchs out od the glass?

I've never had to remove them, but I would thing with some gentle sanding you could get the limbs to look like new, also a good finish will fill in any scratches.
