My 2 cents, it cuts much better, and does not clog near as bad as the Nicholson, with dry wood it does not clog at all. It's nice having the course and fine sides, and you get over the fact that it doesn't have a half round side. Also having the tip handle really helps keep the fingers from getting raw. Sorry don't have any cons.
