Tiller Tree Question

When you guys build your tiller trees, I mean the ones you've got mounted to the wall that you also use when checking poundage, I've noticed that you've got one row of numbers.  Since you measure brace height from the belly of the bow, at the shelf, and you measure draw length at the back of the bow, at the shelf, where do you start you numbering sequence?

I made mine with an adjustable rule, as you can see in the picture, the screws hold an aluminum ruler that I cut down to make room for the cradle.

I measured mine from the back of an average bow, which I think is 1 3/4" from the throat of the grip.

I use one of those flexible seamstress tapes.  The kind you buy at the fabric stores.  I can adjust it up or down on my tree.  The only time I need to adjust it is when the thickness (front to back) of my handle and shelf area changes.

I put up a piece of tape and measure with a tape measure. I measure from the back  side of the handle in 1 inch increments right  to  my draw length. The measurement changes because my bows are all different.  Jawge
