buying wood scraps for knive handles???
« on: September 30, 2009, 08:28:00 PM »
Hey guys,

I am playing around with making my own custom knives, and was wondering if any of you bowyers keep scraps of handle sized (it can be thin, as I will want to layer some, almost like a bow) wood around that you are willing to sell or give away?

I generally have scraps of osage, locust, maple, ash, mulberry, black walnut and others that are end cuts from my selfbows. I save it all. I prefer to barter if you are interested.
