Titebond 3 Question

I got some really nice Yew slats from Brock Johnson this summer and I want to glue one of them up with bamboo before it gets to cold here. I usually use Urac but went and purchased some Titebond 3 the other day. Want you guys opinion.Will Titebond do the job or should I stick with the Urac. Hard to find good Yew that I can afford. So I want your o.k. before I use Titebond. Dean

I've used TB3 on a few Boo backed bows, no problem.

Dean,  I remeber that yew!....I would stick with Urac 185...the gap filling properties will aid in that glue up I think.

Your right Brad, if you have a poor fit Urac is the way to go. Any of the Tite Bond glues require a tight fit.

I made my first lam bow a few months ago.  And I used TBIII.  I made up my mind to only use URAC from now on.  Its still together, but everything has to be perfect.

I've used it on ~15bows, and had 2 delaminations. Might try another glue, but it worked okay for me.
