Christmas Bows!
« on: December 30, 2009, 06:11:00 PM »
My three brother-in-laws each received a little "persuasion present" for Christmas...

The one on the left is 67" ntn, 50#@26", red oak pyramid bow:

(Bow is canted a bit, that's why the tiller appears slightly out of whack.  Sorry.)

The one in the middle is 68" ntn, 42#@28", red oak pyramid bow:

(Again, bow is canted...sorry):

The one on the right is the bow I posted in the "Osage Flatbow" thread.  Can't wait to get 'em all shooting.  At least I'll have some company at the range!

Now your brother in laws are lucky.  You did a great job on those bows.  I have always thought gift that were made were special.  Great jog.

Thanks, Nick.  You really don't like those fades, do you?     :biglaugh:   I keep 'em cause they're super easy (1/2 hour bow!), and they build in the elliptical tiller that makes a pyramid bow perform better.  I'll save the pretty stuff to my selfbows.     :biglaugh:
