I have a Bear Kodiak Magnum (47 pound draw) that I purchased in the mid-seventies and shot for a number of years. I dropped out of archery for a while and moved 3 times. During a cross country move (my daughter had packed the bow) one of the limbs got abraded in the middle of the limb, toward an outer edge, on the back (far side).
The damage (a little smaller than the size of a pencil eraser) and goes through the glass. You can just see the edge of one wood lamination. I am afraid to string the little guy and a local says it’s “toast”.
Is this reparable and to whom should I send the work?
Thanks in advance,
Konrad
