The ultimate hunting arrow
« on: February 08, 2008, 12:05:00 AM »
I shoot a 68 lb takedown recurve and am currently hunting with GT Traditionals (7595's) with aluminum inserts and 125 grain Bear SuperRazorheads,no bleeder blades. I get pass throughs on deer when hit in the boiler room but a shoulder blade shot stopped this rig dead with only about 3" penetration and an unrecovered deer. Thinking about switching to Grizzly Stick Alaskans and Ecilpse 145's on brass,glue-in broadhead adapters. Anyone got experience with this or similar set-up?

KING'S PAWN,

Your setup would be perfect for Grizzly Stiks,  try the Alaskans, and shoot a bear 145grns.

I think you will love them.....
