Purple heart and Mordillo
« on: January 11, 2010, 08:49:00 AM »
I built this bow for a swap with a tradganger and was a real pleasure to make.  62 inches of buttery smoothe draw and 50 lbs riser is purple heart with Mordillo lams from KennyM and the bow has purple heat and mordillo overlays with Horn tips.  Shawn

And this is the beauty that I swapped him for Its twisted damascus with desert Ironwood with sheep horn bolsters and mosaic pins and a hand fitted tooled leather sheath.

I love the "Pick a spot" but I think it would distract me.
