Sanding / Weight reduction...

Need to lose 5-10lbs on this 21st Century Nova. Looking for tips from experienced. Is it possible being the limbs are so narrow? Would I have to sand the glass and trap the limbs?
Also, after I do this, I assume I will need to refinish the entire bow, correct? All advise appreciated.

I'm guessing you could probably lose 2-4 lbs. by "trapping the limbs, but probably not a whole lot more. You can sand the glass to drop the draw weight, but it may take away the "livelyness" of your limbs and reduce your arrow cast.

And yes, with sanding or trapping you'll have to refinish the bow.
