Hello,
I tried to replicate Pennsyltuckey pete's grinder jig
here and disaster struck. So I scrapped it and just turned the whole bench into the jig Thought I would show a few pictures (please excuss the mess)
Here are two ash lams I intend to use in a bow, similar to the one dutchwarbow made
here (I doubt it will turn out nearly as perfect as his but hey I can try)
I plan on using the ash and some purpleheart, backing it with boo of course. I plan to make the bow 60" tip to tip with 50# @ 28". Can anyone tell me what thickness I need to be looking for on my laminations? I was going to go for .25" for the ash and maybe .33" for the purpleheart.
