OK I will complicate this, I shoot 150 up front. 130 STOS w/glue in/glue on insert. would a weight tube affect spine? I can see the concept of alot of weight up front "loosening" up the spine but what I am thinking about doing is usig a weight tube to get them up to about 11 gpi. How will a weight tube affect spine?
35-55s are 8.6 grains per inch, 55-70s are 9.3.
With with approximatly 27" weight tube at 8gpi and 150 up front I can get around 606.8 gpi/35-55s, and 626 gpi/55-70s, this is without feathers and nocks.
Main question is how does a weight tube affect spine?
Thanks guys, I am being picky.
I never bought into the weighted arrow and still don't like to stray too heavy up front. But I want to try and get around 11gpi. That should have some pass through power.
