question about a bow
« on: March 16, 2010, 11:26:00 PM »
I have recently received a bow from a friend but I am not sure if it safe to shoot it kinda looks like it is cracked a couple inches up from the handle.  Here are some pics. I have never seen this before so I am not sure how to proceed.

Yep, chrysals.  About the only way to fix them is to remove them and add a patch a la Dean Torges':    Torges\\' Patch Article

Thank you so much for showing me that article on patching.  I am definitely gonna try to patch this bow. The article recommended using urac but i am curious how do you think titebond II would hold up. or am i better off just ordering some urac.
