most beautiful recurve
« on: February 11, 2008, 07:41:00 PM »
I know this is all about personal taste.  But there is a bowyer who make a recurve that I have seen that almost brings a tear to my eye.  But I can't find it any more?  I think he uses somthing that looks like bull horn to back his limbs and the line of the bow are just like masterful artwork.  Does anyone know who that bowyer might be?

Can you give us more description ?  I bet there is not a bow in these states that someone here on this site hasn't shot and tried.

I mostly just remeber the limb backing looking like bull horn,  and I think horn on the tips?  I know that isn't much to go on.

Mikes (wingnut) horn belly bows are beautiful peices of work.  I've wanted one since I first saw them.  You can see them at dryad bows, he's a sponsor.  Tim
