50" Iroquois
« on: February 11, 2008, 09:27:00 PM »
Just purchased a 50" Iroquois 45#@28" from Bill Warren and shot it for the first time today and love it.  My draw length is 27.5".

Anyone else have one of these?  Curious what quivers and arrows others have used. I shot gold tip expedition hungers 3555's because that's what I have for my other bow.

I was thinking about getting some Gold Tip Traditional XTs 5555s.  Anyone else shoot these before.

Thanks!

I know you asked about Gold Tips, but I have to say I like my Carbon Express Heritage 150s, and I'd bet you could get them flying great from your setup.

I have an Iroquois, but it is the takedown that is 58" long and 56#'s @ 28". It's been outlawed in many places because it SMOKES!! I'm comparing it to several bows I have owned: Centaur, Morrison, Whip, Fedora, Thunderhorn, Savannah, and I think there are three or four others. Unbelievable performance out of this relatively unknown bow. Here's a few pics of mine.

Iroquois' are the best performing Hybrid I've shot to date taking all things into consideration Speed, Shock and Noise. These bows have flawless craftsmanship. I believe I'm on Bill's list for a 50" one piece once he gets time to build. There may be Bowyers who build bows as good as Bill's but I can assure you there are none better.
