Tillering question

I need to make sure I understand fully the process of tillering. When I'm holding the bow in a shooting position and the string is right of limb centerline, I need to sand the left edge of the limb? I have the string notches finished. The string is approx. 1/8" right of center. I do not have the string groove filed yet. Will filing the grooves correct this problem? Tony

first off is the bow glass or a woodbow?

It's a 62" recurve with glass lams.

filing the string grooves may fix the problem, from what i know filing the right nock/ groove a little deeper should make the string track left more. as far as which side of the limb to sand im not sure, i know how to fix prop twist but i dont know if its the same. hope this helps or if youre still unsire someone who knows more can help. good luck

i have have to agree with richard i personally  think that the easiest solution would be to file the right nock. As far as which side you should sand i have no clue. Do you have any limb twist cause that might be the cause.
