« on: May 13, 2010, 01:19:00 AM »
greetings

I'm new to the site and wanted to know if anyone had detailed photos on how to make a classic style longbow..
also is it posible to make a decent bow with wood found at local homedepot or lowes?

a lot of folks point out Sam Harpers site Poorfolkbows.com, as a good starting point for board bows, but i think it gets overlooked that he also has a couple ELB build alongs, Bamboo/Ipe, and a glass bow for beginners.  I would start there.
Where in TX are you?

Look  here . Or look at Primitive Archer Forum and "Warbows". You will find lots of info about ELB`s.
Never believe that you are worthless .... you can always be used as a bad example!
