My buddy Dan had been wanting to build a bow. We decided the long weekend would be a great time to get started. We took some pics along the way but got busy and missed allot of steps.
We used zebrawood and walnut in the riser red elm and aboo in the limbs.
Limb glued up taped down and ready for the top of the form.
Here it is after about six hours in the oven, notice the cured glue on the limbs edges, very sharp.

Here are some pics of the bow after rough shaping and profiling. Several hours of sanding remain, Dan took his new bow to begin the process.
