I am building a 68" red oak board bow and have developed a pretty bad hinge in the top limb. My questions is. Could i back it with a strip of hickory and possibly save the bow or should i just start over?
Thanks.. Mike

I would back it. I did a similar repair on a hinged and crystled hickory bow but I used bamboo. Made a really nice bow.
