I never cared for board bows before but, this is the best looking board bow I have ever seen!
Thanks Osage!! That is a HUGE compliment!!

I have to agree with the easy fix.  In fact i would think the whole job would not take more than a few hours.  I think a sideview of the break is in order for a better look  at the break.  I think a just grinding off the overlay and flatten the last 4" of the tips and glue on a new piece of wood.  Like Mr Scifries said good CA (superglue) will do great and dry within 10 minutes.  Great looking Bow!!!  Easily fixed.

Looking back at the picks PatB is right about the grain being steep.  The grain of the bow itself looks near perfect, but the overlay is not.  like this \\\\\\\\.  Grinding off the overlay and starting over should work great.  I got to say again what a sweet bow!!  Fish you have a great touch for the fine details.

Boswell,

Not sure if you've tried fixing her yet, but, after much thought, I'd like you to mail her back to me. I will either repair it to a point that i'm ok with or make you a new one. And I would only ask you to ship it to me, not pay for both ways.

I'm sorry again about all this bro. This is not at all how I imagined my bow trade to go....

Man, I agree with everone else, the bow should be repairable. And it is still a beautiful bow! Great work, Fish.

If you can, I would like you to ship it back to me. I really want to make this girl shoot for you. I will also take care of the shipping. There is no reason you should have to pay for it when you should just be shooting the bow right now.

Thanks Bobby. I'm REALLY sorry you had to go through this with our swap, but I promise you will get a mean ass bow out of this in the end. Thanks again for helping me make this right bro.

Well Bos I got her strung up and shooting again. I know you were hoping for a 50# bow but she finished up at 46# @ 28". I should be getting her in the mail today or tomorrow hopefully.
