Need repair help
« on: June 25, 2010, 06:34:00 PM »
My string wasn't riding in the center of the limb so I filed one side of the string groove down a little. I hope that made sense  :dunno:   What should I use to coat what I have filed? Can I use a thin coat of superglue or is there a better way. Thanks in advance....James

Superglue would work.  Simple wipe on polyurathane would work too.

So is the string tracking down the center now?

James, another finish you could use is clear fingernail polish, like Tough as Nails, brand. I have used superglue also! Great for nicks in glass or cracks in wood!

Get a good brand if using superglue, industrial type.  Good shootin,

Steve
