Question on snake skins
« on: July 03, 2010, 12:15:00 PM »
What is best for sanding the edges, sandpaper on a sanding block or a fine tooth file? Just glued on a bullsnake skin to my daughter's bow and wanted to see which most preferred.

I like to glue 180 or 220 sandpaper to a block and with down strokes only just lightly hit the edges,it will come out smooth, crisp and ready for finish.

I'm no expert.  I have only put on one set.  But I used a file and it worked just fine.
