Board bow oops=experiment!
« on: July 22, 2010, 09:21:00 AM »
Well while cutting the limb thickness on a oak board bow I got a little deep about 2/3 down the lower limb which I couldn't sand out without taking alot wood/strenght and poundage and had some bad creaking on that limb so, I had some Fiberglass cloth tape 4in.x2yd that I got on clearance at homedepot and glued er on. But instead of fiberglass epoxy I used Lepage Carpenters glue in attempt to turn down the intensity. Its bending pretty nice on the floor and seems really smooth once I get it all tillered up I'll mabye post some pics if anyones interested.
