My ugly bow

Here are some pictures of a bow I made for myself. I built it like the one I
Showed
earlier. This is the ugly sister to that one. I haven't checked the weight on it but it started out at 75 lbs before I did the final width and rounded edges. It feels like it could have ended up at around 60 lbs. It's a 64" n to n bow. Camo job turned out well as I had a hard time seeing it in the pictures.

Nice camo- there must be something in the NM air-maybe just be the heat- I'm working on one that may have you beat on the ugly scale.LOL

I have some difficulty seeing the ugly in it.
It's more like I see the killer in it!
Nice camo job BTW.
Thanks for sharing.

I visit this forum everyday, I seldom made any comment about the look of a bow because for me bow and tallship is the most beautiful thing by mankind. I cannot find anything ugly about your bow and infact she is a beauti. Very nice done.

I checked the weight on my scale which is of dubious quality and it came in at 64LBS. It's about 6-7 lbs heavier than I wanted but it feels like 60 so it's not too bad. Will work well on the elk hunt planned for the end of August. Trux where you at? Are you going to the SCBA trad 3D shoot next weekend?

Moved to Las Cruces a couple of years ago so won't make the shoot- was a member of SCBA when I was in Edgewood - my ugly will finish at 55#s and be for the up coming elk season also. Is this the bow you will be shooting next weekend? If so I tell a buddy of mine to keep an eye out for you.

I dont see ugly there. The beauty is in the way it shoots. I would use a piece of baseboard moulding if it shot good.

Trux I'll be shooting it and a BBO made for me by Kevin B. What's your friends name?
