"Wassaw" generation II!

Made some changes to the second one. I cut the first riser down to 13" to have my limb bolt on the end of the riser. I left this one 15" and have the bolt on the end and two alignment pins behind that. I really like how it all lines up! No side to side play. I changed the limb pads from 6 deg to 5 deg. The overall profile is sleeker, even though still much different that what I was used to. Here are the two risers side by side for comparison.
The second bow will allow me to get another 3/4" of draw length, which should increase performance 5-6 fps. I also changed how I drilled the holes. I drilled the limbs for bolt and two pins, and the riser for the bolt insert. After attaching limbs, stringing her, and checking alignment, I drilled through the limb pin holes into the riser.

Looks real good. I like it better than the riser shape better than the first one. Looks more streamlined and not quite as bulky. Nice job.

from the pics it looks like the angle of the limb pads carries the arc of the braced limbs into the riser very nicely.looks like it should be a very sweet shooter.

Awesome job Apex ! Love that small riser, doesn't look that bulky like the usual take down risers. GREAT !!!

Very cool bow, Marty. I love the names of your bows too. The reverse handle and rear mounted limbs always looks funny to me although I understand the thinking behind it. None the less, very nice work!
The reference to the GA barrier islands rings a bell to an old Savannah home boy!
