ilf limb repair

Hello! First post here.
I received a couple of PSE Pro Elite carbon limbs in a deal, and mostly they're in good shape. Except, it looks like someone (not me!) put channel locks or vice grips on the bushings–both sides, both limbs–and chewed them up around the edges. Besides wanting the limbs to seat nicely, there's a chunk of the gel coat missing at the bottom of one bushing, and to reach it nicely would ideally require the bushing removed.
These are pretty expensive limbs, and I hate to let them go to waste. PSE was no help at all.
So can the bushings be removed/replaced? Is there a specific epoxy that's best to fill in the missing bit?
I'm hoping to use these soon on a Dryad riser.

You can get new bushings from lancasterarchery.com or threeriversarchery.com. Very easy to replace.

Thanks. Any idea how the old ones get removed? Drilling would work, but I'm thinking maybe there's a better way.

Press them out in a vice.  I use a 5/16" bolt and a deep socket.

First remove the cap screw from the limb's back.  Put the bolt into the hole and put the socket over the dovetail fitting.  Press the bushing out with the pressure of the vise.

It's real easy.

I wouldn't worry at all about any chip near the fitting either.  Crazy glue will work as a sealer if the wood is exposed.

Sounds good. The PSE has no cap screw it seems. The cap is brass and looks pressed on, probably kind of like a rivet. No slot, or place for hex key. I think these'll have to get drilled on the back through the brass cap, then use the vice to push out the rest as described.

I see replacements have screws through the back which capture the spring and plunger, so if it fits at least it should go together a bit more easily.
