Made something other than splinters

Thanks to all who provided suggestions and support after may last/first post. I have completed 3 bows, below are pics of the two I'm shooting. My first that did not blow apart is in early retirement due to compression cracks. A fourth is in the finishing stages. The quiver was finished the night before the pic was taken. I'll try to get better pics after the next one is finished. The rawhide backed hickory suprised me alot, I really like it. It is 64" and 40@28. The pyramid is jabota and is 66" 45@28. The poundage may be off with the scale I am using but it is close, possibly, sort of. Thanks for the help again. You all have a great forum. I look forward to spending some time here, learning what I can, as well as drooling over some awsome craftsmanship.
