I went to my local pawn shop and he had 3 bear bows in poor shape but all limbs were straight. Thinking about going back and buying one for a project bow. How do I totaly refinish a old recurve?

go to the history/collecting forum. look on page 2. find the 49 page topic "restoration 101" by bow doc. he is the guru of bow restoration.

Thanks Don, Checked it out and your right he is the man I was looking for.The 101 bow restoration by the Bow Doc is a great Thread for all of us guys wanting to get into restoreing old bow.
