68" nock to nock,,40# at 28" python skin back,shoots good!  Can I make silencers out of deerskin?  Thanks for looking.  Rick

Hova, Yeah,I low grip all bows,I dont know why,just more comfortable for me.!

Did you split that python down the middle and use the left for the top and right for the lower limb?

Nice bow. Tiller looks good.
  You can make silencers from deer hide but with the length of the hair the silencers will have a large diameter. I guess you can cut the hairs shorter.   All a string silencer does is absorbs the string vibrations thus silencing it. Almost any thing you could twist into the string will worl as a silencer.

I thought about deer hide silencers just because I have a couple skins,,Ill try it. I have never made any before.    Rick

CapnJ, This skin was sent to me by a friend,it was only a half,I used most of it on another bow,this was the left overs!  That was a huge snake!!!  I still have enough to do another{maybe}
