Lam Bow designs
« on: January 17, 2011, 10:24:00 AM »
I am trying to learn to build bows from a friend of mine.  I am trying to develop some designs.  Are there any resources for designs?  I am interested in R/D longbows and static tip recurves with a more striaght grip.  Thanks.

I am building a KennyM longbow form right now. He has detailed instructions on his website and is awesome in customer service and willingness to help too.

The Old Master Crafter, used to have blueprints, year ago don't know if they still do.  Don't think they have a website, I can probably find the phone number somewhere if you would like. Just let me know.  I don't think they would necessarily be any better than what is available from Binghams.

KennyM will sell you a nice wood template for his design. I found it easy to use with my router and made a perfect form.
