Made a lefty longbow Finished Pics added!!!!
« on: January 21, 2011, 11:39:00 AM »
I'm having a really hard time trying to shoot this bow and Its wearing me out.  Everything seems to be in order. 49 pound 58 inch accented  Bocote riser with waterfall bubinga veneers under clear glass with maple cores.   I need to put the finish on it and get it out the door.  will try and get some better pics up after its sprayed these bad pics were taken with phone.

Oh Its backwards.

Are you using properly spined arrows for the bow's draw length and draw weight and for your shooting style?

Greg,
I am with on that, I see nothing wrong with it. Dmaxshawn I will tell you what send her and a few arrows my way and I will get it broken in for ya.   :goldtooth:
You may have to shoot some video of you shooting it so we can see what you are doing. I mean if you are a righty I could be your form as a lefty. Maybe arrows, spine, knock point, or feathers hitting.

That is a Beautiful bow. I know what you mean about the whole left-handed thing. I made a bow for a lefty friend one time and it was so awkward shooting it. I was thinking so hard about everything I was doing while shooting it that I couldnt tell if it was shootin good or not.
