Pecan Youth Bows

Started on a couple Pecan Youth Bows for my two nephews tonight. Here is a pic of one of the rough sanded risers.

Thanks. I would've had both of them rough sanded if I weren't having problems with my sanding drums. Hopefully I will get that figured out tomorrow. I'll post some pics in a day or so when I get started on the limbs.

Yeah, still pretty rough. I ended up with 3, a guy at work wanted one for his boy. I've been having sanding drum issues so the rest will be hand sanded. Didn't get to work on the limbs any since I had to build another riser. Will try to get started on them tomorrow.

Well, now I have 4 of these to make. This is turning into a real project. The first experimental solid limbs failed. Moving to laminated wood limbs without the fiberglass later this week. Need to get all 4 risers finished up before more supplies show up. I'll try to post some pics of the finished risers tonight.
