Might take a couple sessions of heat treating but I'd say you can straighten it up. Good Luck.

Hey PatB, That's a pic of me and F-F..I'll be shooting Flip-Flop at GORH next weekend!!! Maybe I'll take a rabbit or win a shoot off with him?  :dunno:  

That stave will straighten right out with some proper heating  :)

This is the bow that had the side crack. It cracked while I was attempting to heat bend. I forgot about it till I looked it over real good.

So... I guess I should focus on straightening in other areas. Nothing to lose I guess. I'll rawhide back it and hope it holds. I had drilled three very small holes through the crack and inserted toothpicks and CA glue to try to keep the crack from lengthening.
